Library details: Appalachian College Association is a Consortium.
This library is affiliated with Appalachian College Association.
Other Info: The ACA Shared Catalog uses a single instance of Millennium with a shared database scoped for individual participant. Additional rounds of participation are anticipated. Twelve colleges within ACA membership have expressed interest in being included as we develop future funding proposals. We have reason to believe another 6 colleges are discussing participation, but have not officially declared interest. As far as we know, the remaining five members of the Association are relatively content with their current system arrangements. The timing and size of additional rounds will depend on funding, primarily, then the location and situation at the various sites. The Association did not previously have a shared catalog. However, this is not exactly a new project in the purest sense. One of our colleges gave their catalog to the ACA, which assumed operation of the catalog for that college. The ACA then upgraded the catalog and began adding associate licenses. ony Krug, Ph.D. Director, ACA Central Library Appalachian College Association 2875 Black Oak Road Jefferson City, TN 37760 865-548-5450 Voice 865-475-6256 Fax http://alice.acaweb.org http://www.aca-dla.org
