Other Info: Based on its media holdings of around 30,000 items, the UAS Library supplies specialized theoretical knowledge and, thus, delivers a solid background for students and persons active in research and teaching. With approximately 1,000 new media purchased every year, the growth of the Library’s holdings results in part from the collection focus of the study programmes and covers a thematic spectrum ranging from media sciences, psychology and economics to social work, sociology, engineering and medicine. The UAS Library now also is a branch of the Public Library of St. Pölten.
