Other Info: The Central Library (BCPZ) has no branches, but there are several faculty libraries. The UNMSM system is struggling to be integrated, a reachable goal. The BCPZ works under incredible conditions, in spite that the UNMSM has the main librarian school in the country. These are in the BCPZ website: no material is supossed to leave the library, no home lending. Students can use only one volume at a time, and for a limited max time of three hours. No school students are admited due to limited material availability. And the property rights are broken every day: commercial copiers have a site inside the library, as a mean to help students with little resources, instead of looking improvement through more imaginative solutions and investment. This university is considered the oldest in America, north and south. This a public university funded by the government, there is no tuitions to be paid.
