Emeryville, CA—Innovative Interfaces, a leader in information technology for libraries, announced that the California State University, Northridge has chosen to install the Millennium library automation system. Currently, Innovative systems are installed in fourteen of the twenty-three California State Universities.

The CSU Northridge Library was the first library ever to implement a fully automated storage and retrieval system; Innovative has developed Millennium to interface seamlessly with ASRS functions.
The third largest library in the California State University system, CSU Northridge's Delmar T. Oviatt Library serves a student population of over 30,000. The library houses a 1.2 million volume collection with 3 million microforms, 4,300 periodicals, and a variety of other formats. The library provides extensive electronic databases, full-text journals, books, and services through its Web presence.
