AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, May 2002--The Dutch National Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank) and Ex Libris are pleased to announce that they recently concluded an agreement providing for the license and implementation of the latest version of ALEPH 500, which is replacing a DOBIS/LIBIS system, at the Bank`s library and documentation center. The system has been installed, and data migration and staff training are already in progress. On-line production is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2002.
With this agreement, the Dutch National Bank thus joins the European Central Bank in Frankfurt and the Bank of Italy as banking customers of Ex Libris.
