CyberTools for Libraries selects Librarian Entrepreneur for Director of Marketing

CyberTools for Libraries is pleased to announce that Jane Maddox has joined its management team as Director of Marketing. In this newly created position Ms. Maddox is responsible for the further development of library marketing and sales programs for the CyberTools for Libraries products and services.

Formerly the Director of Library Services for North America for HARRASSOWITZ, a bookseller and subscription agent in Wiesbaden, Germany, Ms. Maddox was responsible for the marketing and development of library service programs as well as customer service to academic and research libraries in North America. As President and Founder of Library Consultants, Inc., Columbia, Maryland, she gained valuable insights into management and organization as well as market analysis and communications. A Department Head and Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Libraries in Knoxville, Tennessee, Ms. Maddox worked extensively with the Systems Librarian on planning the design and implementation of an acquisitions system. Her articles on library acquisitions and serials have been published in various library journals and Ms. Maddox has been a speaker at professional library meetings in North America and Australia in the years following completion of the master's degree program in Library Science at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.
