Auto-Graphics, Inc. agrees to acquire WINGS Request Management System from Pigasus Software, Inc.

(AUGR) the leading provider of ASP (Application Services Provider) services for over 9,000 libraries, located in Pomona, CA, is pleased to announce its impending purchase of the WINGS software assets from Pigasus Software, Inc. of Saint Charles, Missouri.

The acquisition allows Auto-Graphics to expand upon its leadership role as an ASP by expanding its resource sharing product line to include the WINGS software. Auto-Graphics will embark upon further integrating the proven WINGS ISO 10160/10161 resource sharing system into the proven Impact/ONLINE system, which currently is in use throughout North America.

Michael Skiles, President, Auto-Graphics stated, “Auto-Graphics views this acquisition as a strategic step to solidify its position in the increasingly competitive resource sharing arena. Further, the acquisition is consistent with the larger corporate goal to position the company as a leading provider of Library Management solutions.”

Auto-Graphics also plans to integrate the ISO WINGS product into the Impact/VERSO™ Library Management System as well as the cross-domain (super-search) engine under development.
