St. Louis, Missouri, USA --Data Research Associates, Inc. (DRA) (Nasdaq: DRAI) announced today that Vice President Stephen P. Newman had resigned as an officer of the company.
In announcing the resignation, DRA President and CEO Michael J. Mellinger noted that Newman's responsibilities included direct management of sales operations and that he was actively involved in the startup of the company's current marketing initiative. He managed the direct sales staff through a national sales manager who remains with DRA. Mellinger further stated that effective immediately both sales and marketing will report to DRA Vice President Andrew P. Morrice.
