Charles Farley named general manager for Geac Computers, Inc.

Library Systems Newsletter [August 1993]

Geac Computers, Inc., has named Charles Farley as General Manager of its Library Division in the United States, replacing James Hoffbauer, effective August 16, 1993.

Mr. Farley will be responsible for the merged Geac and CLSI companies in the United States, headquartered in Newtonville, Massachusetts. He will report to Stephen J. Sadler, Geac's President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Farley was most recently Executive Vice President in charge of Gaylord Information Systems. Before that, he held a variety of positions at CLSI, Inc., which was purchased by Geac in December, 1992. At CLSI, Mr. Farley held the positions of Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of International Operations.
