The Directory of Software in Higher Education, compiled by Sandy Albanese of OCLC, lists the more than 500 software packages, with access by title, by discipline and by application. The price is $5.00.
For those who have Digital VAX systems, there is a free directory of 48 software packages available from the Clearinghouse for Academic Software.
