The Cooperative Library Agency for Systems and Services (CLASS) has announced the release of a multi-user version of its CHECKMATE serial control software. Designed to be used on the TRS—80 Model 16 micro with the Xenix operating system and a hard disk of at least 8 MB, the CHECKMATE MTS (Multi-Terminal System) allows up to three users to simultaneously access the system for check-in or reference lookup. The MTS software costs $4,500.
