ALA plans satellite transmission

Library Systems Newsletter [January 1982]

Portions of the American Library Association Summer Conference will be transmitted from Philadelphia to various sites around the U.S. on July 14, 1982. There will be at least two viewing sites in most states. For a fee of $10.00 a librarian can see seven hours of programming consisting of a sample of ALA meetings and detailed discussion of On-line Catalogs, the topic of a preconference.
