Academic Press has succeeded in its goal to make the contents of all of the 178 journals it publishes available on-line. The company is launching IDEAL, the Academic Press Journal Online Library, as the principal means of access to 24,000 articles a year appearing in its journals. A prototype of the database is already available on the Web.
