POMONA, Calif., January 31, 2000. Auto-Graphics, Inc. (AUGR:OTCBB) announced today that its Board of Directors approved a 3-for-1 stock split of its shares of Common Stock. The split will be effective for all shares of Auto-Graphics, Inc. Common Stock issued and outstanding of record as of the close of business on February 11, 2000. The new shares, two for every share outstanding, will be distributed by Auto-Graphics stock transfer agent ChaseMellon to the owners of record of such stock on or before February 25, 2000.
There are currently issued and outstanding 1,574,278 million shares of Auto-Graphics Common Stock; and, after the stock split, there will be 4,722,834 shares issued and outstanding.
Auto-Graphics provides database information management and publishing services. On January 4th of this year, Auto-Graphics announced the organization of two new subsidiaries LibraryCard, Inc., an Internet portal site which will make library bibliographic and other reference type information available to the public on LibraryCard.com. The second subsidiary is know as Dataquad, Inc. which will offer users a single software system that converts, creates, edits and manages data on a dynamic basis using eXtensible Markup Language ("XML") and Standard Generalized Markup Language ("SGML") as its technology backbone. The Dataquad editor product provides users with the ability to create, distribute and publish enterprise-wide information in simultaneous multi-media formats including print, CD-ROM and over the Internet including an e-commerce environment using the user's own computer system or on an outsource "host" base using Dataquad.
