POMONA, Calif., October 11, 1999. James Vincett has been named Library Systems Project Manager at Auto-Graphics Inc. (OTCBB:AUGR), a leading provider of Web-based information publishing and Internet database resource sharing systems.
Mr. Vincett will be responsible for the administration of union databases containing millions of records for resource sharing and after-sale customer support of assigned library consortia's, reporting to Eric Jung, Vice President of Operations according to Auto-Graphics Chief Operating Officer Bill Kliss. "Our expanding suite of products and services that facilitate electronic resource sharing among cooperative libraries calls for specialized knowledge and experience in the library automation field," Kliss said in announcing Vincett's appointment. "James' expertise in this area will contribute greatly to our customer support and services," Kliss added.
Prior to joining Auto-Graphics, Vincett was a Member Support Coordinator for OCLC Pacific in Rancho Cucamonga, California. In this capacity Vincett was responsible for developing workshops and support information for OCLC Pacific members using the OCLC software and on-line services. Earlier in his career, Vincett served within the university arena as an Adjunct Professor and Training Coordinator for information workshops and courses in Microsoft applications, Internet software and Novell NetWare.
He earned his Masters degree in Library and Information Studies at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Most recent, Vincett has completed his course work to obtain his MCSE from Software Education of America, Riverside, California.
