(Carlsbad, CA - June 10, 1995) -- Data Trek, Inc. recently installed the necessary hardware and software to become a full host on the Internet and now has a Home Page ready for librarians to visit. The establishment of the Data Trek Home Page will enable library professionals to access information about Data Trek 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
"We're committed to listening to the needs of library professionals," Data Trek CEO Scot Cheatham said. "The Data Trek Home Page is one more way librarians can reach Data Trek," he added.
As a full node on the Internet, this will give library professionals enormous opportunities to work with Data Trek via e-mail, FTP (File Transfer Protocol), Telnet and other electronic forms of communication opening up on the information superhighway.
Librarians can dial into the Data Trek Home Page (URL: http://www.datatrek.com) and find information about Data Trek's products and services. In addition, librarians can get in touch with their Account Representative through e-mail. They should contact their Account Representative for their correct e-mail address, or send an e-mail in care of sales@datatrek.com and the message will be forwarded. Our Data Trek Product Support e-mailbox is currently under construction and should be ready in July, 1995:
