Carlsbad, CA - October 30, 1992 - Data Trek, Inc. has released the Report Generator, a new software module that allows users to customize reporting capabilities in their Data Trek library automation system. Report Generator Version 1.0 fully integrates with Data Trek's Manager Series software products and lets users modify over 150 reports in their Manager Series Cataloging, Circulation, Serials, and Acquisitions modules to meet their specific reporting needs.
Report Generator gives users greater control over information contained in most printed reports. Full-screen editing enables the user to remove any field currently included, reposition fields throughout the report, and add new fields anywhere in the body of the report. Full-down menus, pop-up windows and user pick lists ensure that Report Generator is easy to use. Additional features include the ability to define the total number of columns and rows; to control the size and location of a field; and to have access to an online field-sensitive help option. These and other features increase the flexibility of the Manager Series' reporting capabilities.
