City of Hillsboro Public Library installs Sirsi's Unicorn Collection Management System

Huntsville, Alabama - SIRSI is pleased to announce that the installation of SIRSI's Unicorn Collection Management System at the City of Hillsboro Public Library is complete. The software is installed on an IBM RISC System/6000 Model 220 host computer.

In addition to the bibliographic and inventory control module, Hillsboro has licensed the authority control, circulation control, and enhanced public access modules.

Hillsboro plans to use Unicorn primarily to provide circulation and public access catalog functions. Susan Mann, Director, said "I'm amazed with all the system can do. The staff has found the modules easy to use, and the patrons have readily gone from using a paper catalog to searching the OPAC."
