Best-Seller Inc. Acquires and Expands into Europe

Best-Seller announced its expansion into the European market following its recent 100% acquisition of the library division from Speedware (France). Representing over 20 libraries, this recent acquisition represents some of the largest and most diverse libraries in France.

In addition, Best-Seller has announced the creation of its European sales and support office based in Paris, France. The opening of the office is scheduled for April 2, 1998.

Best-Seller's investment in the growing European market follows a year of unprecedented success in North America and the launch of a new product line.

Established in 1986, Best-Seller is a leading supplier of Year 2000 compliant library automation software and services in North America and has expanded to Europe as part of its strategic global expansion. The creation of its European office in Paris, France will enable Best-Seller to continue to be well positioned to compete in the international library marketplace.
