SALT LAKE CITY, UT, September 14, 1998 — COMPanion Corporation announced today its compliance with Year 2000 operation. Alexandria for the Mac OS and Windows, and Alexandria Executive use the 4-digit year in calculations relevant to any calendar features.
"We have had a lot of calls from users regarding our compliance with the millenial changes. I'm pleased to reply that our users, regardless of which system they are running, will suffer no complications in conjunction with the Y2K bug," said Bill Schjelderup, President, COMPanion Corporation.
When librarians return to work January 2, 2000, Alexandria will function without any 2-digit date complications. Current versions and all future releases have been built for compliance with the Year 2000 date change.
