The Ninth National Conference of the Association of College and Research Libraries, scheduled for Detroit April 8-11, 1999, will focus on the theme "Racing Toward Tomorrow." Program sessions will feature many technology issues, including digital imaging, technology management, distance learn-ing, electronic publishing, redefining the reference environment, and design-ing facilities to accommodate technology.
Registration is $325 for ACRL members, $420 for ALA members, and $540 for non-members. Preconference registration is additional.
