Buy.com Inc., an Internet retailer, is selling PCs and other computer pro-ducts over the Internet at prices below those charged by many VARs (value added retailers) , expecially smaller ones with only a few sales outlets. Buy.com scans the Web on a daily basis in an effort to beat the competition, however, a large percentage of its orders are filled with products purchased from Ingram Micro Inc. and Tech Data Corporation, both very large VARs.
