Endeavor breaks 100

Library Systems Newsletter [February 1998]

A minimum of 100 multi-function/multi-user systems sold, has been the "magic" number in the library automation industry for a number of years. It is believed to be the numerical point at which the installed customer base is large enough so that system maintenance is a separate profit center. With this number, a company could continue to operate profitably, even in years when new system sales were less than robust, With the recent signing of Purdue University as its 101st customer, Endeavor has passed this threshold.

Not only has Endeavor reached the magic number quickly, it also has signed a significant number of major accounts.

Endeavor has targeted the academic and special library markets with Voyager, a client/ server-based system with a full-range of modules.
