Dell drops price for Pentium 133

Library Systems Newsletter [December 1996]

Dell, generally considered the market price leader for PCs, has recently dropped the price on its most popular model, the Dell Dimension P133v. A complete system-consisting of a 133MHz Pentium processor, 16MB of RAM, 2.1GB hard drive, 15-inch color monitor, Sx CD-ROM drive, Ethernet interface card, Windows95, and three-year limited warranty-is priced at $1,799. A similarly configured Pentium 200, the P200v, costs only $200 more.
