Paul Sybrowski, President of Dynix, has been named General Manager of Library Automation Services for Ameritech. In his new assignment-which will not involve giving up his post at Dynix-Sybrowski will be responsible for strategic planning for both Dynix and NOTIS, its sister company. Until this time, the coordination of the two companies has been the responsibility of the President of Ameritech Enhanced business Services.
The companies will not be merged, but they will work more closely together. Dynix is already offering several NOTIS products to its customers, and several other cooperative efforts are underway.
