Already the dominant vendor in the community college library automation market with more than 85 Dynix and Horizon systems installed, Ameritech Library Services has teamed with IBM to develop a special "turnkey" offer for community college libraries. The package includes cataloging, circulation, patron access catalog, ProCite (for preparing bibliographies), and community information. IBM hardware, installation, database load, and training are bundled with the applications software. While the focus is on Dynix, a Horizon option is available.
