Ceiling water leak detector

Library Systems Newsletter [August 1992]

Dorlen Products, a company which has for years offered subfloor water monitoring systems for computer rooms, has developed a new product called Ceiling Guard. The new product is an array of sensing panels that are installed to create a warning system by detecting minute water leakage above suspended ceilings.

Ceiling Guard is priced at $425 per unit, with each unit covering 64 square feet. The units can be connected to an audible alarm ($91 and up) or to an auto-dialer and annunciator ($835 and up).
