Carlyle Systems, Inc., has announced the first sale of its new integrated, multifunction library system designated "Voyager," to Loma Linda University. The University has contracted for acquisitions, serials control, cataloging, circulation, and online patron access catalog modules. The OPAC has been installed and is in Beta testing. There are 22 OPAC terminals and a data base of 150,000 bibliographic records. Three circulation terminals will soon be added. The hardware platform consists of two Sun SPARC-Stations running UNIX.
