DRA targets CLSI customers

Library Systems Newsletter [January 1990]

Data Research Associates (DRA) has announced a new marketing program aimed at CLSI customers planning to upgrade, replace or expand their existing automation system. DRA represents that it can offer a complete replacement system at a monthly cost comparable to what many libraries pay solely for maintenance of an existing system. For example, for a 22-terminal system in an institution eligible for public sector leasing rates, the cost would be approximately $2,110 per month exclusive of telecommunications for remote sites. The pricing reflects special trade-in values that have been established for existing Digital equipment currently in use.

DRA software runs exclusively on Digital hardware and features a fully integrated package that includes acquisitions, serials control, circulation, and patron access catalog modules.
