MEDLINE options continue to proliferate but this one runs on a Macintosh PC, rather than on an IBM-PC or compatible. The Faxon Company and Aries Systems Corporation have signed a marketing agreement to offer subscriptions to the MEDLINE Knowledge Finder CD-ROM data base. Knowledge Finder is a proprietary search software which accesses data on any CD-ROM disc player that supports the SCSI interface protocol. Up to five years of MEDLINE are accommodated on a single CD-ROM. Prices--which are claimed to be competitive with other MEDLINE CD-ROM products--are available on request.
