Anti-static spray

Library Systems Newsletter [October 1987]

A library which has had problems with discoloration and staining of surfaces on which antistatic spray has been used, has asked whether this is a problem with all such sprays. The answer is no; it is highly unusual. Look for a spray which is represented as safe for all materials, including fabrics, paper, wood and metal. In addition, look for non-flammability. If you should have difficulty finding a local supplier, write to Evans Specialty Company, which sells the spray at $3.95 per 16 ounce bottle.
