CHICAGO, Illinois -- January 25, 1995 Endeavor Information Systems, Inc., announced today that noted library industry professional Ms. Becky Clarke has been named Vice President, Sales and Customer Services. Ms. Clarke holds an MLS degree and a Ph.D. in Communication and Information Science from the University of Hawaii. She comes to Endeavor from a variety of notable library industry positions: she spent many years with H. W. Wilson, and is widely considered a marketing and technical expert on the subject of commercial database access. Most recently, she was Sales Support Manager at NOTIS Systems.
At Endeavor, Ms. Clarke will oversee Sales, Training, and Customer Services. She will also represent the company on panels at user group meetings and other industry gatherings.
She explained, "I look forward to the challenges presented by a newly formed employee-owned company. I joined the Endeavor team because I wanted to be a part of delivering Voyager, a state-of-the-an client/server product, to the library community. I know my co-workers to be experienced professionals with years of library automation development and customer service experience."
Endeavor Information Systems Inc. is a newly created library software company. The Voyager Series offers total library automation using client/server architecture, relational database, open systems standards, graphical user interface, and image technology.
