Bibliotheca appoints new Chief Operating Officer

Press Release: Bibliotheca [September 3, 2008]

2008, September 3 - Cham, Switzerland. Bibliotheca RFID Library Systems, one of the world's top two RFID suppliers for libraries, invested Robert Trümpler in the post of new Chief Operating Officer (COO) on September 1, 2008. He replaces Uwe Brandenburg, who is leaving the industry. Uwe Brandenburg discharged his duties in an extremely professional manner to date, therefore enabling Robert Trümpler to pick up where his predecessor left off in his successful work for us. The new COO is in charge of Project Management, Support and Installation. This incorporates all project logistics activities and the test & documentation segment.

Robert Trümpler, whose previous position was Head of Information Technology at a major Swiss company with successful global operations, has more than 30 years of experience in the international IT project business across various industries. Trümpler's Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering comes from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.

Matthias Joos, Bibliotheca's CEO, endorses the new COO: "We are thrilled to have Robert Trümpler join us. He is an experienced professional who comes to us with a broad spectrum of user-oriented and technical IT expertise. Bibliotheca guarantees customer-centered and efficient project organization and execution across the globe."
