2010, February 5 - Ottawa, ON, Canada. On January 1, 2010, Bibliotheca RFID Library Systems, one of the two leading international RFID providers in the field of open system solutions for automation and media security in libraries, appointed Darin Currie as the new General Manager for Canada.
Darin is based in Ottawa, Ontario, and carries on the successful management of Bibliotheca in Canada from Bob Dougan, who has entered retirement.
"Darin Currie is a certified expert in international project management. His appointment is a key strategic step in extending Bibliotheca's technological leadership worldwide," stated Matthias Joos, CEO Bibliotheca RFID Library Systems AG.
Darin Currie looks back over more than 18 years of international experience, over five of which he spent in Germany. Darin has held leading management positions in both product and project management in the areas of research and development. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
"With Darin as General Manager we are strengthening our position in the North American market as a recognized expert for customer-specific and fully integrated RFID solutions. We strongly believe that after Europe we will now climb the next rung on the ladder of success in Canada, too", adds Matthias Joos.
