Mitchell also serves as President of the BiblioLife division of the Company. Prior to joining BiblioLabs, he co-founded BookSurge in 2000 and served as head of business development, helping drive the company's growth into publisher sales. After the acquisition, he worked for Amazon.com to help the company on its growth trajectory. Prior to BookSurge, Mitchell co-founded Lowcountry Media Group (LMG) in Charleston, South Carolina, a multi-media design and development firm. From 1994 to 1999, LMG became a leading provider of print/internet cross-marketing systems for the mail order and tourism industries in the Southeast. He has also consulted with leading non-profit organizations on the development of Internet tools for improving community dialog and fundraising. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the College of Charleston. He continues to take an avid interest in documentary film making and media production.
