Dublin, OH - November 27, 2020 - Patron Point announced today that Bayport-Blue Point Public Library of New York has launched its patron relationship management system to support the Library's strategic marketing efforts.
Bayport-Blue Point Public Library (www.bayportbluepointlibrary.org) is the public library serving the communities of Bayport and Blue Point on Long Island's south shore. It exists to inform, educate and culturally enrich the residents of all ages of the district through the selection, organization, promotion, and dissemination of the printed word and other forms of expression. Founded in 1938 as a Blue Point PTA project, the Blue Point Public Library began with a collection of donated books which tradition says were gathered by wheelbarrow from the home of local residents. Today, Bayport-Blue Point Library offers not only books, audiobooks and ebooks, but home entertainment and online resources, tickets to parks and museums and more. A member of the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, with an annual circulation of over 130,000 items and supporting over 125,000 visits annually, the Library has become a cultural center of rare quality for a community of this size and one in which the local citizens can take great pride.
