Argosy invests in SirsiDynix

Press Release: Argosy Private Equity [July 13, 2015]

On July 13, 2015, Argosy acquired a minority equity stake in SirsiDynix Holdings, LLC d/b/a SirsiDynix.

SirsiDynix, founded in 1979 and headquartered in Lehi, Utah, is a leading provider of integrated library system software to public, academic, grade school, and specialty libraries across the globe. ILS software is a specialized enterprise resource planning software for a library, used to manage acquisitions (physical and electronic) and to track books and other collateral, orders made, bills paid, and patrons who have borrowed materials. The Company currently serves over 23,000 libraries in 70 countries across the globe.

SirsiDynix is majority controlled by ICV Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm based in New York City. A group of investors led by Spotlight Equity Partners also participated in this round of financing. Argosy is excited to be partnering with both ICV and Spotlight in this investment, as both firms have significant experience in building service businesses.
