Current Tech Trends for Academic Libraries
Abstract: This keynote session will give an overview of the current trends seen in academic libraries North America and in other global regions. Marshall Breeding will draw from his recent reports, including the “Library Systems Report” recently published in the May 2019 issue of American Libraries and the “Perceptions 2018: An International Survey of Library Automation.” Topics will also include next steps of technology involvement and advancement in academic libraries beyond the implementation of library services platforms.
