Provo, Utah, April 1, 2019 – Backstage Library Works (www.bslw.com) is pleased to announce that Moy McIntosh has been appointed as Southeast account representative working with clients to develop solutions related to Backstage's extensive line of services: cataloging and metadata, digitization, microfilm, record upgrades, authority control, data conversion, reclassification, and on-site services (inventory/weeding/moving).
Moy is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will work with libraries, archives, and other cultural institutions in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
Moy holds a master's degree in library and information science. Her extensive background includes leading a project to transform a small physical library into a global knowledge center with a custom designed digital portal, spearheading the effort to rebuild a document library as a new section in an online wiki, and managing the library and satellite information centers of an international ratings agency. Moy is currently chairperson elect for the Business and Finance Division of SLA. She has also served as an advisory board member for EBSCO, director of the Executive SLA board, and president of the New York Chapter of SLA.
