Toronto, ON -- BiblioCommons is pleased to announce BiblioOmni: an omnichannel marketing platform for public libraries. Building on the unique architecture and capabilities of the BiblioWeb website builder, BiblioOmni will allow public libraries to easily create brand-consistent, customized communications and marketing campaigns across all of the channels that they use to connect with their patrons -- a true omnichannel experience.

Similarly to BiblioWeb with its card-based architecture, BiblioOmni will modularize libraries' content and allow each block of content to be created once but reformatted, recombined and repurposed indefinitely across a multiplicity of channels. Its taxonomies, segmented patron data, analytics and event triggers will help library marketing staff to make strategic decisions about the audience, channel, and timing of particular messages. BiblioOmni will integrate with best-in-class marketing channels for email, digital signage, kiosks, landing pages, and more.

While BiblioOmni will be designed to integrate with BiblioWeb, libraries that do not use the website builder will be able to subscribe to BiblioOmni and make use of the channels via the platform's APIs and widgets, which will also allow them to integrate additional marketing channels.

The retail sector's interest in providing experiences that bridge the gap between digital and bricks-and-mortar has increased exponentially over the last several years. This has correspondingly shaped consumers' expectations and led to a proliferation of omnichannel marketing tools. BiblioOmni will be the first omnichannel marketing platform designed specifically for the needs of public libraries, and will be uniquely suited to help libraries meet their patrons' expectations of a seamless personalized experience across physical and digital spaces.

Beth Jefferson, BiblioCommons' Co-Founder and CEO, says: "Public libraries make sound strategic investments in innovative programming, important resources and exciting content, but research shows that their communities are only aware of a small proportion of what is available. BiblioOmni will help libraries to bridge that communication gap, and to do it more effectively and easily than ever before."

BiblioCommons staff will be discussing BiblioOmni and the potential of omnichannel marketing for libraries this week at the American Library Association conference in New Orleans. Those interested in learning more are encouraged to visit the BiblioCommons booth, #3815 in the exhibit hall, or loveyouronlinelibrary.com/biblioomni.
