Auto‐Graphics, Inc Expands California Presence With VERSO ILS

Press Release: Auto-Graphics, Inc. [May 5, 2016]

ONTARIO, CA -- May 5, 2016. Auto‐Graphics, Inc., a leading provider of tools, technologies, and software developed to power libraries, and Nevada County Library, are pleased to announce the selection and successful migration of Auto‐Graphics' VERSO, as the new Integrated Library System.

After a competitive and thorough RFP process, Nevada County Library selected Auto‐Graphics as the vendor of choice with their latest iteration of ILS software. VERSO is a leading edge ILS software designed to help libraries manage their resources while enhancing information discovery and improving staff work‐flow and service delivery. VERSO is intended for library systems ranging in size from a single branch library, up to diverse and complex multi‐branch locations. With their recently released VERSO 5.0, Nevada County Library is getting Auto‐Graphics newest version, which allows the library staff and its patrons access to the library's catalog in a completely scalable fashion from smart phones and tablets on up to the plethora of laptop and desktop screen sizes.

Nevada County migrated from a SaaS Horizon solution to a SaaS VERSO solution. Auto‐Graphics continues to increase its foothold in California as more libraries are selecting VERSO as their mid‐tier ILS system. Public libraries have an increased need to serve patrons with modern search functionality, and they are finding this need met with VERSO. Laura Pappani, Nevada County Librarian, is very happy with the Library's selection. "The responsiveness of the Auto‐Graphics customer service team and versatility of the product have been wonderful. Staff and library patrons alike are finding VERSO intuitive and very user‐friendly."

VERSO, delivered via the Cloud in a hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model, assists in cost control helping address budget or staffing constraints. All system upgrades are provided at no additional cost. Auto‐Graphics was the first ILS vendor to utilize the SaaS deployment and installation with a WEB based staff module. With the web‐based application, all upgrades and fixes or enhancements are immediately available to all users. There is no client software to load and maintain, freeing up valuable IT or technical staff to support additional projects for the library.

Albert Flores, Vice President of Sales had this to say, "We are pleased our expansion efforts to larger California libraries continue to be met with success. We firmly believe that VERSO provides a unique experience to a public library seeking an ILS designed and supported by a company focused on public libraries."
