NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Ingram Content Group is reminding prospective startups for the 1440 Winter Session 2016 that the deadline for applications is November 30, 2015. The accelerator program, 1440, is named for the year Johannes Gutenberg perfected his printing press technology.
1440, Ingram Content Group's accelerator, fosters innovative products and technologies used to create, distribute, or consume print or electronic book content. Ideally suited for the program are early-stage companies that support book publishers, including independent authors, or help retailers, libraries, or educators connect with more readers. Of particular interest are content creation or distribution platforms, demand generation services, data analysis tools (sales, market, customer data) or similar products and services.
The expertise of Ingram Content Group will be supplemented by the guidance and mentorship of The Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
The deadline for accepting applications is November 30, 2015. The program begins on January 31, 2016, and encompasses an intense 14-week process designed to accelerate the growth of up to 10 startups. The investment terms include an investment of $30,000 in exchange for 7% equity with additional equity earmarked for key advisors.
