Melbourne - 24 June, 2015: Civica is pleased to announce the release of our Event Management system, a fully featured web-based event management solution featuring integration with the Spydus integrated library management system.
The first release of Event Management contains key functions in planning and executing library events, including online registration and payment, progress tracking and reporting, event marketing, and post-event feedback. In addition, Event Management interfaces with the Spydus membership database, and for non-library members gives them the opportunity to sign up as part of the event registration process.
"We originally developed our Event Management system for the Sports Hub Library in Singapore, a public library completely managed by Civica," said Marc Nolan Managing Director. "After presenting the solution to our wider customer base we realised that it filled a much needed gap in libraries, and after over eight months of customer consultation and feedback I am pleased to release version one."
The development roadmap for Civica's Event Management system, version two to be released late this year, includes greater integration with the Spydus discovery features for event recommendations, public facilities bookings, and general customer enhancements.
