Biblionix outranks all in Perceptions Survey for Sixth year running

Press Release: Biblionix [March 3, 2015]

Austin, Texas -- March 2, 2015. Biblionix, a leading provider of automation solely for public libraries, today announced that its Apollo integrated library system (ILS) has again topped the Perceptions survey conducted by Marshall Breeding. The Perceptions survey is conducted annually, internationally. For the SIXTH straight year, Apollo received top rankings in ALL categories. Libraries with up to 100,000 holdings are considered "small" in this survey.

Excerpted from the survey are these summary comments from Mr. Breeding:

  • "Apollo continues its superlative performance…"
  • "This product has received consistently exceptional performance…"
  • "…Apollo has exceptionally happy customers."

Example customer comments include:

  • "I've used five ILS products in my career and Apollo wins, hands down. It is sane, efficient, intuitive, and cost-effective. Not only is the company's customer service outstanding, Biblionix has demonstrated that it is genuinely interested in keeping our business."

The survey asked if the library was planning to change to a different ILS. The results included a table showing the answer to that question for the last 8 years. In that time, not a single Apollo customer indicated that they were planning on a new ILS.

The Perceptions survey results were released on February 10th and are available here: http://librarytechnology.org/perceptions/2014/
