Baratz intensifies its activity in Mexico

Press Release: BARATZ [January 4, 2007]

01/04/2007. COFIDES and FONPYME awarded BARATZ MÉXICO S.A. de C.V. a joint venture loan worth 600,000 euros to establish a new headquarters in México City to accommodate the company’s vigorous growth.

BARATZ MÉXICO is one of the subsidiaries owned by the Madrilenian SME BARATZ SERVICIOS DE TELEDOCUMENTACIÓN S.A., which since 1987 has engaged in the development of technological solutions for library and archive management. The company’s subsidiaries in Mexico, where it has operated since 2002, as well as in Panama and Peru, reflect on its international ambitions. It also has authorized distributors in Brazil and France.

This investment is part of its strategy to reinforce its Latin American business, particularly in Mexico, where it has expanded significantly in recent years. Over half of its Mexican staff of 40 participate in an R&D team that is developing a new archive management product, the company’s primary line of business in Mexico.
