Auto-Graphics' SHAREit has been selected to provide the next Interlibrary loan platform for Access PA, one of the largest ILL implementations in North America that serves over 2600 public, school, academic, and special libraries across Pennsylvania. After a comprehensive RFP process, Auto-Graphics' SHAREit was selected because it meets the needs indicated to HSLC by the Pennsylvania library community at trainings, forums, conference events, and through the many years of providing technical support. In upgrading to the SHAREit ILL platform, HSLC's objectives for Access PA will be met by providing a more modern and feature-rich interface for end users with greater search functionality, a flexible and efficient ILL system, and a more accurate and authoritative database that will enhance statewide ILL services.
"HSLC is excited to be working with Auto-Graphics on behalf of the residents and library staff throughout PA," noted HSLC Executive Director, Maryam Phillips. Phillips continued, "Auto-Graphics has been in business since 1950 and has a proven track record with large-scale statewide ILL. We are proud to be working with a vendor who can assist HSLC with improving statewide library services with such an exciting product and in a cost-effective manner." HSLC and Auto-Graphics will immediately begin work on an implementation schedule that will include in-person and online training throughout PA in Spring 2015. Keep an eye on the Access PA News for more information.
Albert Flores, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Auto-Graphics, Inc., said, "Auto-Graphics is pleased to be partnering with HSLC and Access PA's diverse library membership on delivery of SHAREit(tm), our next generation ILL services. Having worked with many statewide systems over the years, Access PA has long been looked at as not only one of the oldest statewide resource sharing systems, but also one of the most diverse and prestigious ILL initiatives. This award further substantiates SHAREit as the preferred statewide platform for statewide resource sharing and we look forward to the many libraries throughout the state leveraging our advanced resource sharing capabilities."
