"We're pleased that two major public libraries in Southern California have selected Sierra," says Bill Schickling, SVP of Global Sales. "Sierra is robust enough to handle millions of circulation transactions a year, while opening the door to new kinds of patron services such as access through mobile apps. Sierra will provide the proven workflows that let staff work as efficiently as possible, as well as the open architecture that will help the library connect with external applications to take advantage of an evolving technology landscape."
