Best selling titles from Microsoft Press, Merriam-Webster, Barnes & Noble Digital Publishing, Tyndale House, Zondervan, Multnomah, Rough Guides, RosettaBooks, Peanut Press and others will join eBook collections from Time Warner, HarperCollins Perfectbound, John Wiley & Sons, McGraw-Hill, and Scholastic for libraries to loan their patrons.
Using the OverDrive system, best-selling eBooks can be selected and downloaded from the library's website for offline reading on PCs and virtually all PDA devices. The eBooks borrowed automatically expire and check themselves back into the collection. Library systems scheduled to offer eBooks to their patrons using OverDrive's service include MetroNet, Michigan; Youngstown, Ohio; Starkville, Mississippi; Essex County, UK; Burlington County, New Jersey and others.
