Atlanta, GA, August 19, 2014 – EnvisionWare, a leading provider of self-service and library efficiency solutions, announced today that Arlington Public Library in Texas has migrated to EnvisionWare RFID from a 3M RFID system.
Arlington Public Library, located in Arlington, TX, serves a population of just over 370,000. The migration includes the Central Library and all six branch locations with 620,000 items and annual circulation of 2.1 million.
The EnvisionWare migration was relatively seamless. EnvisionWare RFID technology is compatible with the Library's existing 3M tags so the Library did not have to retag the collection. In addition, Arlington has the flexibility to use existing self-service checkout desktop hardware with the EnvisionWare software.
