North Bethesda, MD, July 3, 2014- Bonaire Public Library is now joining LibLime Koha 4.18 for all collection and patron management services. While watching closely the deployment of LibLime Koha to the Philipsburg Jubilee Library on nearby St Maarten, Bonaire has made the decision to automate using LibLime Koha 4.18.
LibLime Koha is the most functional open source ILS available to public libraries today. The LibLime Koha 4.18 production release further enhances the technology platform by including:
- Full RDA compliance
- A new fines/fees module relying on accounting principles
- Enhancement to fines and fees allowing partial payments and credits
- Expanded SIP2 messaging pairs to support eCommerce for 3rd party products
- New authority control tools that support the merging of authority records and associated bibliographic records
